Awesome - just works! :-)

Beautiful little app - that even works with buffer. If you just want to write a tweet and dont get caught in the timeline - this is your app! :-)

Neat little app that allows me to focus more on writing, so I dont have to always look at my Twitter stream. Great design and functionality, but its still simple and elegant.

Im thrilled to finally have distraction free tweeting on the Mac. I love drafts for when I have a great idea for a tweet, but dont have the time to make it good enough or short enough. As a long time Birdhouse user, this is exactly what Ive been looking for. Its so beautifully designed, its a joy to use. Thanks Guys!

Save yourself from costly distraction

If you want to tweet without risk to your focus, this is the best app for it. Very well designed and executed.

Trying to concentrate on work with my Twitter timeline open is like trying to have a dinner conversation with my favorite show playing on a big TV right behind my dates head. I dont want to look but I CANT HELP IT. What can I say, Im easily distracted. I think Wren is really sharp looking and adds to my workspace aesthetic (it doesnt hurt that I have a ton of screen real estate, so if youre on a laptop you might want to hide the app and use the global hot keys). I like that Wren shows you when and what your last tweet was because I dont like to send too many tweets each day. I also like the way the link shortening works - you just enter your long links in and click the icon and Wren shortens all the links at once. Id never seen something like that before. I admit that if I post a tweet that I think will garner responses, I find myself really wanting to check my @replies. To help feed this addiction without viewing my timeline, I installed notifo+push.ly on my phone. That way, I keep my phone on my desk if I want to see a push notification when someone @replies. If Im really in the zone, I just keep my phone out of sight. All in all, a really solid app. Good job, guys!

Every once in a while an app comes along that harmonizes visually and functionally into great design. Wren is that app. When I want to tweet without getting lost in the stream, I call up Wren. These guys have produced a thing of true design. Managing to pull together real simplicity of design and functionality with real personality. Not an easy task. I love using Wren - its always a joy. You would be remiss not to give your productivity a boost and your tweets a second glance by using Wren.

Needs more drafts.

Only three drafts? Not sure why that random limitation is enforced. That tidbit alone keeps it from being a 5-star app.

The global show/hide shortcut for quick "Tweet and get out of the way" is really handy. Dont even need to click the mouse, which is great for random thoughts in the middle of coding. Its clean and simple enough to be run entirely by keystrokes! Helps me get my thoughts out and keep working. Now I can do that without getting sucked into all-things-tweet.

Most of my best ideas and thoughts come while Im in "focus mode." Wren app lets me share those ideas without losing my focus. The design is beatiful and stays out of your way. Highly reccomend for anyone who wants to stay productive *and* share ideas.

B-E-A-UTIFUL

This apps is fantastic. Clean, well designed, and works great. Finally, I can tweet without getting lost in a sea of distraction.

This is a great little utility for simply getting out a tweet. I love the autocomplete based on the tweeters I am following. Even the global shortcut is nice…however: 1. Should a utility that only sends out a small string of text constantly occupy a space in my dock? Couldnt we move it to the menubar? 2. Also, I understand reasons for keeping the standard mac app menu bar, but it doesnt really compliment the overall look of the app? A custom window frame could set this app apart from the crowd. 3. This isnt necessary, and is probably against the general philosophy of the app: though I would never want to get drowned in my timeline, it might be nice to see mentions/replys or DMs in the bottom portion. Just a thought. It would really increase the utility of the app without adding noise. PS, the speed of this app is wonderful.

This app actually does help me be more productive. Great little app!

Wren is a great "just tweeting" app. However, its missing one major thing…the ability to save login credentials. When I close the app, it asks me for my username and password again. This wouldnt be so bad if I used a weak password for Twitter, but I have a long, secure password. Please add this option Wren!

Ive been using Wren since before launch, and I have to say that while its not even necessarily my primary Tweeting app (I primarily Tweet from Twitters website), Wren fits a nice space in my workflow where if I think of something while Im trying to get stuff done and avoid Twitter I can just fire it up and send that Tweet without losing focus. I love how the app looks, and even though its a simple app, it gets so much right in terms of the inline @reply completion, url shortening that just works, and url highlighting that is completely instant and inline.

I know these dudes, and they are always building beautiful things. Other Twitter clients try to do "everything." So their UIs are too busy. Not Wren. Its small on my desktop, with a beautiful design and the yellow is awesome! My tweets seem to drop into a beautiful world of lovely soft twitterness. How soothing! When you scale things down and get to the core of what you really want to do on Twitter (communicate), design can shine through and make Twitter easy and fun again. Thats what Wren has done. Easy, beautiful, communicative at its core. 5 freakin stars. +1 for the iPhone app (but keep it simple!)

Have asked for help. This thing wont even turn on. What good is it? What a waste of money and they will not respond.
